Don’t you just love it when you wake up to glorious sunshine, particularly after the incessant dreary April showers we’ve been having recently! What better way to celebrate the sun’s welcome return than with pretty sunshine-happy yellow dresses?!!
Wear yellow in all it’s smile-provoking shades, from chalky pastels and lemon sorbets to bold and brightcrayon-box hues and statement highlighter yellow. Here’s my favourite that I’ve found – most have a vintage vibe which I love! Shake things up and accessorize with unexpected neons, spikes, cut-out details and complimentary leopard prints for a contemporary take on vintage inspired styles. Yellow works wonderfully with blue tones so take a cue from the palette of the Prada S/S’12 collection and wear your yellow dress teamed with a pastel aqua knit or turquoise heels for a retro 50′s style.
